Brett Eldredge
Eldredge was born on March 23, 1986, in Paris, Illinois, to Robin (née Koester) and Troy Eldredge. He has two sisters: Amy and Laura. Brett’s grandfather, Richard Koester, was a former president of the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). Growing up, Eldredge spent his summers with his grandfather in North Carolina where he developed a love for country music.

About Brett Eldredge

Early Life

Eldredge began singing at a young age and by the time he was in high school, he was performing regularly at local clubs and events. After graduating from Paris High School in 2004, he attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale but dropped out after one semester to pursue his musical career.

Career

In 2010, Eldredge signed with Atlantic Records Nashville and released his self-titled debut album in August of that year. The album’s lead single, “Raymond,” was a Top 20 hit on the Country Airplay chart. His second album, Bring You Back, was released in 2013 and debuted at number one on the Top Country Albums chart. The album’s lead single, “Don’t Ya,” became Eldredge’s first number one hit on the Country Airplay chart. The album’s second single, “Beat of the Music,” was also a number one hit.

Eldredge’s third studio album, Illinois, was released in 2015 and debuted at number one on the Top Country Albums chart. The album’s lead single, “Lose My Mind,” peaked at number two on the Country Airplay chart. The album’s second single, “Wanna Be That Song,” became Eldredge’s second number one hit on the Country Airplay chart.

Awards and Nominations

Eldredge has received five Academy of Country Music Awards, six Country Music Association Awards, and four Grammy nominations. He has also been nominated for three American Music Awards and three CMT Music Awards.
