Cody Daniel Johnson (born May 21, 1987) is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. He has released seven albums independently. His eighth studio album, Ain’t Nothin’ to It, was released on January 18, 2019. In 2006, Johnson founded the Cody Johnson Band. The group released their first album, Black and White Label.
Personal Life and Career
Johnson began singing and playing guitar at an early age. He cites George Strait, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks and Hank Williams Jr. as his musical influences.

In 2010, Johnson signed a record deal with Warner Bros. Records. The label released his first major-label album, Ain’t Nothin’ to It, in January 2019.
The album peaked at number one on the Billboard Country albums chart and number three on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.
Johnson has won several awards, including the Academy of Country Music’s New Male Vocalist of the Year award in 2019.
